Bob has worked as an executive leader in the media, entertainment, and technology industries for the last 25+ years monetizing content across both traditional and alternative distribution platforms. He has held both domestic and international leadership roles with well-known organizations, such as Qualcomm, Scripps Networks Interactive, Disney/ABC Broadcast & Cable Networks Group, Landmark Communications, Discovery Networks, and Group W Satellite Communications. Bob has a bachelor’s degree from the Manship School of Journalism at Louisiana State University. Bob leads corporate strategy, investor relations and content sourcing and acquisition efforts for Shep Digital Solutions.

Kelby Cox

Customer Success Manager

Kelby is a recent graduate with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Data Science. While in school, she studied anything from Mathematics to Linguistics, but accidentally landed in the tech field right out of college. Gaining experience as a Data Analyst and an Applications Support Lead, Kelby discovered her niche as a professional jack of all trades. Always aiming for creative solutions to problem solving, Kelby is excited to be merging the worlds of data and development as Shep Digital.

David brings 7+ years of experience in direct customer retail and software engineering. He most recently worked at Apple in various positions, including technical support, software engineering and creative retail. David has a degree in computer science with a focus on operating systems from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He also has certifications with Apple’s Pro Software. David supports the Shep Digital Software engineering team with a focus on backend systems analysis and automated content creation, making Shep more Sheppy.

Baugh Doster

Finance and Accounting Manager

Baugh is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he received a bachelor’s degree in finance with a collateral in marketing. Throughout his college years, he worked with multiple financial firms, assisting in client relations and account management. Additionally, Baugh worked on the Tennessee 9th congressional district campaign as a marketing intern. Baugh works to ensure that Shep is properly nourished on the AR side of the shop, in addition to managing vendor satisfaction on the AP side of the ledger.

Kenna Huxoll

Technical Operations Analyst

Kenna loves diving into data and turning numbers into stories. A proud University of Tennessee grad, she majored in Business Analytics with a side of Marketing. Before stepping into analytics, she worked in the service industry, where she mastered multitasking and learned how to keep cool under pressure. While crunching numbers as an analyst for a manufacturing company, she discovered her favorite thing: solving tricky problems and learning something new every day. When she’s not decoding data, you’ll find her chasing fresh ideas and looking for the next challenge to tackle.

Max is a dedicated tech enthusiast and has professional experience that spans various areas including technology retail, data coordination, and help desk services. He has taken on responsibilities as an administrator for SaaS solutions showcasing the ability to manage and oversee technological platforms. With his background in Computer Information Technology, he aims to provide high quality assistance in the realm of Shep’s network.

Didier (“D”) is a visionary technologist with over 25 years of engineering and leadership experience spanning AdTech, MarTech, eCommerce, and enterprise architecture. Known to describe himself as a big cup of T.E.A. — Technologist, Engineer, and Architect — Didier operates at the intersection of innovation and execution. Whether architecting multi-cloud ecosystems, leading large-scale platform modernization efforts, or crafting data-driven AdTech strategies, he consistently pushes teams toward performance, scalability, and business impact. At his core, Didier is a builder — of systems, of teams, and of ideas.

Molly has 2+ years of experience in control systems engineering and software development. Before landing on the Shep team, she worked at Eastman Chemical Company in the control systems engineering department. Molly recently graduated with her master’s degree in computer science from Vanderbilt University, where she also interned in their cybersecurity department. Before that, she earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science from East Tennessee State University. Molly implements her creative ideas to work on Shep’s backend software system.

Brian Nelson

President

Brian has 15 years of experience in new market development, sales, marketing and operations, and he is a key strategist in retail marketing and programmatic shopper marketing. Prior to founding NewsBreak, Brian led a social psychology research team at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). In addition, Brian spent two years as an outreach specialist in the mental health field, leading business development with regional school systems. Brian has a master’s degree experimental psychology from ETSU, as well as bachelor’s degrees in theatre and psychology from Elon University. Brian is Shep’s sales face and task master, spearheading business and product development.

With 4 years of prior experience in general IT with Regal Cinemas, Matt brings a diverse set of skills in technology solutions and systems administration to Shep Digital. In addition to his IT expertise, he has a passion for graphic design. Matt’s creative pursuits complement his problem-solving skills and allow him to approach IT challenges with a unique, design-oriented perspective. He is dedicated to leveraging his dual interests to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results for Shep Digital.

Tyler brings a wealth of experience from the retail technology, autonomous EV and power plant industries to Shep Digital. He has collaborated with companies such as Pilot Company, GE Vernova, Siemens Energy, and Calpine on both domestic and international projects. Additionally, Tyler has contributed to many industry-firsts in the renewable energy sector, driving innovative solutions and setting new benchmarks. At Shep, Tyler is able to apply his diverse background and analytical skills to deliver insightful, data-driven strategies that enhance the effectiveness and efficiencies of the operations and data analytics teams.

Eli Wilson

Sales, JVP

Eli leads sales strategy and growth for Shep Digital Solutions. A US Army veteran and former Military Police Officer, he brings the discipline and operational focus that complex sales environments demand. Before joining Shep, Eli built a strong track record in the convenience and fuel retail space, helping operators implement loyalty programs and customer engagement strategies. More than anything, Eli is a relationship builder who measures success by the success of the retailers he works with. At Shep, he partners closely with retailers to understand their businesses, solve real problems, and build retail media programs that deliver lasting value.

Brett Wooldridge

Brett is a digital media specialist with 10 years of experience in software support and video production. After graduating from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County and earning additional certifications from the University of Maryland Global Campus, Brett has since worked in a wide range of industries — including medical software, video game development, and media production — bringing a unique blend of creativity and technical problem-solving to every environment.
